What is the cancellation policy? You may cancel out of a classroom course up to 10 days before the class begins without any penalty. Ten or fewer days before the class begins, you may transfer into another class without a penalty or you can cancel and incur a $25 cancellation fee.

This session will provide the latest information for New York licensed brokers, managers, and agents. NYSAR's Legal Counsel will cover a wide array of legal issues including legal obligations of the licensee and an in-depth look at recent laws, rules, regulations, court cases, DOS cases and governmental guidance/opinions as well as other issues critical to reducing risk in your real estate practice. Members can use this class only once per license renewal term for 1 hour of CE credit.

Interested in Becoming a Licensed Salesperson?
The first step is to take the the NYS Salesperson’s 75 hour Qualifying Course. The 75 hour course is offered through several local Boards or online at https://cortlandmls.theceshop.com.
A licensing candidate may take the course final examination only upon satisfactory completion of the attendance requirements. An exam score of 70% or above must be achieved in order to successfully complete the course. A make-up exam is available in the event the course exam is not passed.
