The Cortland County Board of REALTORS® Installs the 2019 Board of Directors and Officers

The Cortland Country Club was the sight for the Cortland County Board of REALTORS® Installation gathering on Friday, November 2, 2018. Shuryl Menapace, Salesperson with Howard Hanna Real Estate, was installed as the incoming Board President for 2019. Other REALTORS® installed by Past President, Tim Alger, Associate Broker with Yaman Real Estate, were:  Joanne Sweeney, R.E. Associate Broker, Heritage Realty of CNY as President- Elect; Tracy Koenig, R.E. Salesperson, Yaman Real Estate, as Treasurer; Rose Marie Ferro, R.E. Salesperson, Hage Real Estate, Director; Dana Decker, R.E. Broker, Heritage Realty of CNY as NYSAR Director. Jerry Hartnett, R.E. Associate Broker, Hage Real Estate, Director and Jeff Guida, R.E. Associate Broker, Seven Valley Realty, Director, could not attend the event and will be officially installed at the next scheduled Board of Directors meeting at the end of November.

Shuryl looks forward to her year as CCBR’s President. She plans to embrace her theme of Professionalism along with increasing awareness of Realtor Safety. “I am looking forward to not only working with our Local Board, but the community as well.”

One of the things the Cortland County Board of REALTORS® and its Associate membership takes pride in is supporting our Cortland community in many ways. At this giving time of year, the membership will be raising money to benefit Loaves and Fishes at their Annual Holiday Gathering.   In addition, REALTORS® and their Associate Members individually donated and wrapped new toys that will be distributed at the Annual Loaves and Fishes Christmas party.   Local Realtors also further that giving spirit as they helped stock the pantry by donating canned goods and basics food needs.

The Cortland County Board of REALTORS® next upcoming event is their annual awards luncheon for REALTOR® of the Year, President’s Award, Community Service and Community Hero Award along with the Golden Circle Awards in January 2019.
