The CCBR awards luncheon was held on January 30, 2025, at Homer Center for the Arts. This annual event recognizes Realtor® and Affiliate members for their support and acknowledges their achievements.
Affiliate members were recognized for their support and involvement. Dana Decker received a Lifetime Achievement award for earning the Golden Circle award for 15 years.
Jason Hage, 2024 President, received the Realtor of the Year Award. The 2024 President’s Award went to John Aspinwall.
The Community Hero and Realtor® Good Neighbor awards recognize recipients for their community service, honoring people who recognize their responsibility to their community and possess a selfless dedication to the betterment of others and the betterment of our community. A $250 donation is made to the recipients’ charity of choice in their name.
Jackie Burke received the 2024 Community Hero Award. Jackie volunteers, on average, 15 hours a week. She is immediate Past President of the Kiwanis of Cortland, President of Cortland Breakfast Rotary Club, a member of the Cortland Repertory Theatre Guild and the 1890 House Museum Victorian Guild, and director of NY Wildlife Rescue.
The Realtor® Good Neighbor Award went to Nicole “Nikki” McRae. Nikki volunteers at Homer Central School, coaches her daughters’ sports teams, is a member of the CCBR Board of Directors, as well as serving on several committees, she is a cofounder of the nonprofit Little Tags, and much more.
