Cortland Country Club hosted the Cortland County Board of REALTORS® Installation Dinner on Saturday, November 5, 2022.  Kristopher Buchan, Broker, Tompkins Cortland Real Estate, was installed as the incoming Board President by Katrina Medeiros.  Outgoing President Rose "Marie" Ferro, Lic. RE Slsp., Hage Real Estate, installed Jason Hage, Lic. Assoc. RE Brkr. as President-Elect, "Terry" Howell, Lic. Assoc. RE Brkr., Yaman Real Estate, and Mark Skodzinsky, Lic. Assoc. RE Brkr., Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Heritage Realty as Directors, and Nicole "Nicki" Wynn, Lic. Assoc. RE Brkr., Yaman Real Estate, as NYSAR Director.  Adele Fetterly, Lic. Assoc. Brkr., Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Heritage Realty, will be installed as Treasurer, and Jerry Hartnett, Lic. Assoc. RE Brkr., will be installed as a director, at the next board of directors meeting.

Kris is looking forward to his year as CCBR’s President, “It is my hope that this coming year is a positive one.  I am a very lucky person to have such friends here in this room and in this business.  I hope that we all are able to work together and continue to move our fine organization further forward.”

CCBR and its Affiliate members take pride in supporting the community.  In April $625 was raised for Country Acres Animal Shelter the HomeBuyer/HomeOwner Expo.  The annual Golf Outing raised $800 for Hospicare of Cortland, and $245 for CAPCO’s SnackPack program.  Members planted a tree and did brush cleanup at Dwyer Memorial Park in September.

CCBR’s next event is their Holiday gathering, where all proceeds benefit the Loaves and Fishes Annual Holiday Gathering.  REALTORS® and Affiliate Members also donate and wrap toys to be distributed at the gathering, and further that giving spirit by helping stock Loaves and Fishes pantry with food staples and personal care items.
