The Cortland Country Club was the venue for the Cortland County Board of REALTORS® Installation Dinner on Friday, November 5, 2021.  Rose "Marie" Ferro, Lic. RE Slsp., Hage Real Estate, was installed as the incoming Board President for 2022.  Other REALTORS® installed by outgoing President, Tracy Koenig, Lic. RE Slsp., Yaman Real Estate, were  Kristopher Buchan, Principal Broker, Tompkins Cortland Real Estate as President-Elect, Jason Hage, Lic. Assoc. RE Brkr., Hage Real Estate as Treasurer, Jerry Hartnett, Lic. Assoc. RE Brkr., Hage Real Estate, Adele Fetterly, Lic. RE Slsp., and Teresa Howell, Lic. Assoc. RE Brkr., ABR, SRS, SRES, as Directors, and Dana Decker, Principal Broker, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Heritage Realty, as NYSAR Director.

Marie is looking forward to her year as CCBR’s President.  Her main goal this year is to encourage membership to make a difference, both in our community and industry, including mentoring  colleagues, encouraging members to get involved and take leadership roles, and staying up to date with market and technology  changes. 

Cortland County Board of REALTORS® and its Affiliate membership take pride in supporting our community.  Thanks to 2021 President Tracy Koenig CAPCO was the 2021 CCBR Golf Outing fundraising recipient, with donations totaling over $600.00.  She was also instrumental in the CCBR sponsored Red Cross Blood drive  this past September, which had 27 donors, including 3 first timers.  At the Annual Holiday Gathering  REALTORS® and Affiliate Members will be raising funds for Loaves and Fishes Holiday Dinner, donating and wrapping new toys to be distributed at the dinner, and helping stock the Loaves and Fishes pantry with donations of nonperishable food and personal care items.

The Cortland County Board of REALTORS® next upcoming event is the annual Awards Luncheon, where the REALTOR® of the Year, President’s, Community Hero, Good Neighbor and Golden Circle Awards will be presented.
