INTRO TO MATRIX

Intro to Matrix Part 1

Get started with Matrix, one of the most important tools in your real estate toolbox!   You'll learn how to use the buttons, widgets, and menu options on the homepage.  Different methods of searching and working with your contacts will also be covered.  Formal training in Matrix will save you time and frustration.  You'll want to attend "Matrix 1 Intro Part 2"  to learn about some advanced features.

Intro to Matrix - Part 2 

This is a continuation of Matrix Intro Part 1.  Learn some of the advanced features of Matrix. Topics include setting up your Hotsheets and Market Watch reports.  You'll also learn about entering and editing listings, how to search public tax records and the Realist database, and how to print address labels for your prospecting mailings.

MATRIX 2

Save time and make your life easier by learning how to automate client/customer contact and how to customize your Matrix account.  Keep your contacts up to date by setting up automatic e-mails - let Matrix do the work for you!  Did you know that you can reverse prospect and track active listing activity?  You'll learn how to do that, and more, in this class.

1:30pm – 3:00pm

MATRIX 3

This Matrix CMA feature will help you prepare an accurate comparative market analysis for your clients.  You'll get tips on how to choose the best comparable properties and how to put the whole report together to present to your client either electronically or in person.

Licensing Information

Interested in Becoming a Licensed Salesperson?

The first step is to take the the NYS Salesperson’s 75 hour Qualifying Course. The 75 hour course is offered through several local Boards or online at https://cortlandmls.theceshop.com.  If you prefer a classroom setting, please contact the Cortland County Board office at 607-753-1227 or [email protected] and we can provide you with the list of upcoming classes and links. 

A licensing candidate may take the course final examination only upon satisfactory completion of the attendance requirements.  An exam score of 70% or above must be achieved in order to successfully complete the course.  A make-up exam is available in the event the course exam is not passed.

Successful completion of both attendance and exam requirements entitles the licensing candidate to sit for the New York State examination.
 

NYSREEF Scholarship Deadline
The New York State Real Estate Education Foundation provides scholarships for national designation courses to active REALTORS practicing full-time in New York State.  The deadline to apply is December 31, 2021.  Scholarships are awarded in October.  For more information, please visit nysreef.org
